Experimental Study of Self-Compacting Concrete Using Plantain Leaf Ash and Polycarboxylate Ether Solution as Superplasticizer

Concrete is a binding material, made up of constituent cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water. Self-Compacting an innovative concrete that does not require vibration for placing compaction. It able to flow under its own weight, completely filling formwork achieving full compaction, even in the presence congested reinforcement. The study also intended quantify amount plantain leaf ash be added according value properties measured. For such purpose, fresh must possess intense fluidity great cohesiveness. Plantain waste causing threat environment terms odour reduce this problem material project has been undertaken so it can used construction purpose. following points were attempted resdearch; i. To replace cement by different percentage ash, ii. prepare replacing iii. compare self-compacting containing varying amounts with commercially available superplasticizer, iv. compressive strength normal conventional concrete.
